The Physio Control Lifepak CR Plus AED defibrillator is fully or semi-automatic, with a simple two-step process that gives the first person to respond the confidence they need to help save a life. The fully automatic model of the LIFEPAK CR Plus AED is designed to deliver a shock only if it determines a heart needs it. No one even needs to press a shock button.

With the ADAPATIV Biphasic technology it automatically increase the joules with each shock for patients that are difficult to defibrillate. Should the heart fail to respond to the initial shock, the device can deliver additional shocks, up to 360 J. This can increase the chances of successful defibrillation, with the goal of saving more lives.

This is one of the reasons this AED also has been widely used by medical personnel in many ambulances and hospitals in the Netherlands.

Easy to use

The CR-Plus is a handy AED that is very easy to operate. For example, the flap opens at the touch of a button and this immediately signals the start of the defibrillation for the AED. The pre-connected electrodes are immediately visible and easy to open and deploy with a red handle.

The AED is also equipped with an easy-to-read display that shows the status of the lightweight charging battery and on which the AED shows any messages in the form of icons.

An internal computer analyzes the heart rhythm, enabling people without medical training to provide potentially life-saving treatment at the touch of a button. The cost-effective battery system is lightweight and requires little maintenance; it can deliver 20 to 30 shocks with maximum energy and easily be recharged.

Every week and every time you turn it on the CR Plus AED performs a self-test. In addition, the defibrillator performs a comprehensive self-test every month. This makes sure it will be ready for use. ECG Data can be stored for wireless transmissions to a PC.
