The ZOLL AED Plus is a reliable and easy to use Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). It uses the unique technology: CPR HELP. If the AED is not able to deliver a shock the ZOLL Plus will help with the resuscitation. It provides real-time CPR feedback on the depth and rate of chest compressions. It does this through audio- and visual commands. The adaptive metronome detects the compression tempo and guides you to achieve a minimum of 100 compressions per minute. These features significantly increase the victim’s chances of survival.

The Zoll AED Plus comes with CPR-D padz. These consist of one piece, which prevents incorrect placement of the electrodes. During CPR, the icons on the AED unit are illuminated alternately by LED lights. This makes it even clearer for the care provider which actions must be performed and in which order they must be performed.

This defibrillator has a sturdy, robust design that is resistant to dust and water. The AED Plus guides the rescuer step-by-step through the resuscitation by means of spoken instructions, a text screen and icons.

The AED Plus is further characterized by very low maintenance costs. The batteries and electrodes both have a shelf life of approximately 5 years. Therefore, it is only necessary to replace it once during the life of the defibrillator, otherwise the replacement costs for the battery and electrodes are still low.
