The WEINMANN Medumat Standard 2 is the reliable emergency ventilator during and after resuscitation. It is intuitive and offers maximum safety for the patient and the user thanks to numerous features. The MEDUMAT Standard² has different modes and options for invasive and non-invasive ventilation (NIV).

This compact and portable device gives clear instructions and guides you easily through resuscitation procedures. All the different connections have been conveniently placed at the front like the Accessories Connection, Connection for Measuring Tube Systems and the Patient Circuit. On the right of the device, you can find a Hygiene Filter that protects the device against contamination. The Lithium-Ion Removable Rechargeable Battery has an operating time of up to 10 hours and charges within 3.5 hours.

For a perfect view on measurements and settings, the display layout has been optimally designed to suit the user’s needs. The display even has a night mode setting, which can make the display optimally readable in the dark. In night mode the colors on the display are inverted so as to minimize glare. This makes it easy to read parameters even in complete darkness and make nighttime work a lot easier for EMS field providers.

The rapidly-operated navigation buttons are simple and quick to use. Data can be transmitted through an SD Card.

Extra Functions

CPR Mode: A particularly important aspect when the patient needs to be resuscitated is that the CPR mode guides the responder safely through cardiopulmonary resuscitation in line with the guidelines.
CCSV Mode: CCSV (Chest Compression Synchronized Ventilation) is the new ventilation mode specifically for resuscitation from WEINMANN Emergency. In CCSV mode, a mechanical breath is initiated in sync with each chest compression. This means no gas volume escapes from the lungs and the pressure in the lungs provides support during the chest compression.
CPAP Mode (Non-Invasive Therapy (NIV)): Sedation and intubation always carry risks for the patient. In the event of some indications, such as cardiac pulmonary edema or exacerbated COPD, intubation may not be necessary. Non-invasive CPAP therapy via a mask offers many advantages. This can happen as long as the patient is awake and breathing spontaneously. A particularly important aspect in emergency medicine is that CPAP therapy can be initiated immediately by EMS field providers.
